What is LULAC?
A national movement. A local commitment.
Founded in 2011, we are part of the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) the oldest and largest Latino civil rights organization in the United States, established in 1929.
Here in Southwest Washington, our council carries that mission forward through local action. We focus on education, civic engagement, youth leadership, and protecting immigrant families through advocacy, training, and community care.
